Vintage David Wright Prints

We recently acquired a wonderful group of vintage prints of David Wright's commercial work - pinups, advertising work, and book covers.

As we scan and catalog the prints we will be posting them in our ebay store and in our shop here, so check back for new additions!

To start off we have a group of prints of Wright's terrifically popular WWII pinups from The Sketch.

Original Prints

These are NOT tearsheets. The Sketch printed these separately from the magazine on thin, glossy paper and tipped them in. Recognizing the popularity of Wright's pinups, they presented them in an upgraded and easy to collect format.

These are NOT later reprints. These are the original prints distributed with the issue of the magazine at the time of publication.

Size

Size is about 9 x 12 inches, unless noted, with some slight variation.

Condition

Condition is generally VG-Fine, unless noted. These are NOT mint but are very collectible. They were printed on thin paper and are getting close to 100 years old, and inevitably show some handling wear, typically some light creasing.
